Nach Informationen des ARD-Hauptstadtstudios sollen Vollzeitbeschäftigte einen gesetzlichen Anspruch auf jährlich 24 Tage Homeoffice bzw. mobiles Arbeit erhalten. … Grundsätzlich will Heil eine digitale Arbeitszeiterfassung verpflichtend machen, nachdem verschiedene Studien zum Homeoffice ergeben haben, dass die Heimarbeitnehmer ohne Kontrolle von Vorgesetzten und Kollegen entgegen allgemeinen Vorurteilen nicht weniger, sondern mehr arbeiten. … Dagegen beharrt man im Bundesarbeitsministerium darauf, dass im Homeoffice die Arbeitsschutzregeln genauso gelten müssten wie im Firmenbüro – samt einer von Arbeitgeber und Betriebsrat zu erstellenden Gefährdungsbeurteilung.“

Eine Testphase startet ab Mitte Oktober. – Europas Währungshüter intensivieren ihre Arbeit an einem digitalen Euro. ‚Die Menschen in Europa bezahlen, sparen und investieren immer häufiger auf elektronischem Weg. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, das Vertrauen in unsere Währung zu sichern. Deshalb müssen wir dafür sorgen, dass der Euro für das digitale Zeitalter gerüstet ist‘, sagte die Präsidentin der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB), Christine Lagarde, am Freitag laut einer Mitteilung. ‚Wir sollten darauf vorbereitet sein, einen digitalen Euro einzuführen, sollte dies erforderlich werden.‘ – Technisch würde ein digitaler Euro dem Bitcoin ähneln. Aber im Gegensatz zu der Kryptowährung stünde er unter Aufsicht einer Zentralbank.“
