Das Geschäft läuft inzwischen online. – Bose wird in den nächsten Monaten 119 Ladengeschäfte dicht machen. Betroffen sind alle Bose-eigenen Läden in Europa, Australien, Japan und Nordamerika. Das hat der Audio-Hersteller gegenüber heise online bestätigt. Grund sei eine „dramatische Verschiebung zum Online-Shopping“ in bestimmten Regionen. – Bis auf weiteres geöffnet bleiben zirka 130 Bose-Geschäfte in Asien (außer Japan) sowie den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Das Unternehmen kündigt an, den betroffenen Mitarbeitern dabei helfen zu wollen, anderswo neue Arbeit zu finden. Wievielen Personen gekündigt wird, verrät Bose ausdrücklich nicht.“
